Spectreman (1971 - 1972)

Spectreman (スペクトルマン Supekutoruman)

Spectreman is the name and title superhero of a tokusatsu sci-fi TV series. Produced by P Productions and created by producer Souji Ushio, this series aired on Fuji TV from January 2, 1971 to March 25, 1972 with a total of 63 episodes. This was the first major superhero show of the 1970s.

Plot
Banished from the peaceful simian Planet E, the mad scientist Dr. Gori and his brutish assistant Karras [Lla in the Japanese version] search for a new planet to rule after Gori's plot to conquer Planet E had been foiled by its government. Coming across the Earth, Gori is captivated by its beauty, but is appalled by its inhabitants' misuse of its environment, leading to severe pollution (a huge topic back when this series was made, since Tokyo was the most polluted city in the world at the time), so mankind must be quickly conquered if this planet is to be inhabitable, so he plots to, ironically, use the very same pollution that's plaguing the Earth to create horrible giant rampaging monsters to wipe out and/or enslave mankind.
Fortunately, hope comes in the form of the Nebula 71 Star, a Saturn-like artificial satellite that observes the Earth incognito. Fearing that Gori may eventually make the Earth uninhabitable, they dispatch Spectreman, their super-cyborg agent, to battle the menace of the mad apeman. Spectreman disguises himself as a Japanese man named Jôji Gamô to walk among the humans and scout out Gori's weekly menace for the Nebula 71 Star. He works with a government-run group called the Pollution G-Men, run by Chief Kurata. This group investigates phenomena involving pollution, but they don't (until late in the show's run) have the facilities to handle giant monsters, so unbeknownst to them, their comical-yet-mysterious teammate Jòji disappears on them, only to help them as Spectreman!
As the series comes to a conclusion, Dr. Gori is defeated and driven to face Spectreman by himself in the last episode. While the hero tries to convince him that his remarkable intelligence should be put at the service of good rather than be used for destruction and tyranny, Gori eventually commits suicide, after replying that he'd rather die than be denied his supremacy over Earthlings.

Jôji Gamô, Spectreman requests his transformation from the Nebula Star, or is ordered by same to do so. Saying "Roger", or "Ready" in the US version, he raises his right hand towards the Nebula Star, which shoots a beam at him, transforming into Spectreman, a cyborg in a gold-and-copper cuirass, with a full helmet looking somewhat like the Rocketeer's mask. Before transforming back into a human, however, he simply faints, possibly from using up his energy.

Spectreman EPISODE 01

Mirrorman (1971)

Mirrorman (ミラーマン Mirāman)

Mirrorman  is the title superhero of a tokusatsu SF/kaiju/superhero TV series, Mirrorman. Produced by Tsuburaya Productions, the series aired on Fuji TV from December 5, 1971 to November 26, 1972, with a total of 51 episodes. This was Tsuburaya Productions' first non-Ultra superhero.

Plot

In 1980s, an evil alien race known simply as the Invaders are about to take over the Earth, using assorted daikaiju (giant monsters) and other fiendish plots. Assigned to investigate this threat is a organization called the Science Guard Members (SGM). But another hope comes from someone, unbeknownst even to himself, possessing otherworldly power. Professor Mitarai, the leader of SGM, finally shares a secret with his foster son, young photojournalist named Kyôtarô Kagami ("kagami" = Japanese for "mirror"), a secret only he himself knows: Kyôtarô a half-cast of an alien father and a human mother (both of whom are missing — captives of the Invaders). Kyôtarô discovers that he is actually the son of Mirrorman, a superhero from the 2nd Dimension.
However, the original Mirrorman was defeated by the Invaders' toughest monster King Zyger (explained in Episode 14), but his son Kyôtarô survived, and shares the same powers as his namesake. Naturally, the young man had difficulty accepting his destiny, but he soon realizes that he is the only one who can save the Earth from the Invaders, when they try to assassinate him. In order to transform into Mirrorman, Kyôtarô must stand in front of any reflective surface (mirrors, water, etc.), and flash his Mirror-Pendant, and utter the words "Mirror Spark".

RedTwenty : RedTwenty

On August 21, 2002 at Indies In Change Concert, Thammasart University, RedTwenty performed a furiously lively great performance with their guts of madness. All audiences were pretty stunned. Their albums (easy homemade style) were sold out entirely as soon as they finished the show. There is only a few Thailand band who wrote English Language in their lyrics. This is truely brave creation. Redtwenty is one of them also. Redtwenty are Bank - Sorrawis Insiriphong (vocalist),Chim - Paphan Chimtawan (guitarist), Oaks - Attapol Praisri (bassist), Bengz - Sompop Praesangieam (drummer) and Pong - Panmanus Nakata (live performance guitarist). They got influenced with powerful British Pop & tip-off of 90's Rock & Roll. They started to work with Mr. Wannarit Pongprayoon (We already knew him as Pok Stylish Nonsense). Later on, They signed in Panda Records. They released their self-title name album in 2006. This concept album is also anti-social. Their lyrics are mainly about drugs, dark side of teenagers, suicide, self-injury. Perhaps, They depend on how they express it and how they are accepted it. They already wroted and work on this album since they were young.

The Stone Roses : The Stone Roses

The Stone Roses were an English rock band formed in Manchester in 1984. They were one of the pioneering groups of the Madchester movement that was active during the late 1980s and early 1990s. The band's lineup consisted of vocalist Ian Brown, guitarist John Squire, bassist Gary "Mani" Mountfield, and drummer Alan "Reni" Wren.

The band released their debut album, The Stone Roses, in 1989. The album was a breakthrough success for the band. At this time the Stone Roses decided to capitalise on their success by signing to a major label; however, their current record label Silvertone would not let them out of their contract, which led to a long legal battle that culminated with the band signing with Geffen Records in 1991, and then finally releasing their second album Second Coming in 1994. The group soon disbanded after several lineup changes throughout the supporting tour, which began with Reni first departing, followed by Squire.
